Based in Portmarnock, County Dublin, we've been keeping gutters running and rooflines looking right for years. We work right across north Dublin, from the coast in through to Coolock and beyond. If you've driven past the Dublin Bus garage on Malahide Road, you're in our patch.
: Gutters, downpipes, fascias, soffits, the lot.
We install, repair, and replace. We work in uPVC, aluminium seamless, and cast iron. Profiles we carry include half-round, ogee, and square-line. If it channels rainwater off a building, we deal with it.
One thing that catches people out is the downpipe back plate masonry fixing. A lot of older Dublin houses have soft render or ageing brickwork, and if that fixing pulls away, the whole downpipe can shift. We make sure it's done properly from the start, not patched.
We use good-quality uPVC as standard. For period properties or older rooflines, we can discuss cast iron work. Aluminium seamless runs are cut on site. Can every job use the same approach? No, and we wouldn't pretend otherwise.
We get asked this fairly often. Most gutter repairs and installations can go ahead in cold months. However, we won't fix anything to a fascia in heavy frost, because the fixings won't hold and it'd be a cod of a job. Light rain isn't usually a stopper for us.
We're based in Portmarnock, County Dublin, and cover north Dublin and surrounding areas. Give us a call on 01 264 5710 or Visit Portmarnock Guttering to see more of our work. Would it not be worth a quick call before that leak gets any worse?
